memory card help

well I bought myself a memory card for my trail cam... and well I can't get the some beach working..... I am able to save things from my laptop to it.. but if you try to put it in a digital camera it says that it needs to be formatted... which I have already have around five times and the trail cam works but not when I put the memory card in.. just wondering if someone knows what else I can try to do

Give me a bit more info, maybe I can help....

What kind of card, SD, SDHC, etc

What kind of Camera? Video, or photo cam with video option, point and shoot cam, etc

What brand? Nikon, Canon, Sony....

When the cam says the card needs to be formatted, are you formatting it in the camera, or you computer. You need to do it in the camera.... If you're using SD cards, some cameras won't take SDHC (secured data high capacity). Check those and shout back....

You also need to look up the specs of what size card your camera supports.
