I finally finished acquiring a collection of logging pics from Time Life!

Awesome pictures All the local resturants have pictures like those, logging was/is real big in my area, all those are circa 1880-ish. Its awesome to see 12 horses loaded up with a log the size of the one in that picture of the truck with the 1 log section in it. Pretty amazing

The first photo looks like the old flume near White Salmon in the Columbia River Gorge. We used to ride our dirt bikes on that thing. They tore it down about 20 years ago.

Your logging posts always remind me of Ray Stevens Haircut Song where he always tells the barber "I'm a logger!!"

I remember it from when I was little. I lived in White Salmon when I was real young. You use to ride dirt bikes on it. Thats crazy!
