Those mini laptops

Calling all computer gurus!!! Are those mini laptops any good? The price looks good but are they worth it. Id like to buy one for vehicle use only. Like running the AE software and the software to reburn my chip. Also make a spreadsheet to track fluid changes, mileage and thats about it. Are they quick enough for that type of stuff or not? Thanks.

Like the little ACER laptop at walmart?

they look pretty sweet

I want one too

they would be fine for stuff like that, keep in mind they only have a 80g hard drive. So don't clutter it up

They are fine for less demanding applications such as what you are gonna do with it.

We have a couple that we use on the boat for small standalone apps. They work great for that. Given that it is government software I am sure that it is pretty bloated, so it should be able to handle what you want fairly easily.

Sounds good. As long as they are good enough for the AE software. That will probably be my biggest app, and my PHP chip software. I have to much important stuff on my other laptop to be moving it around. I already had one scare.
