Transmission Shops 4R100

Looking to have a new tranny built in Colorado Springs

Don at Transmission Clinic has a few good references.. Anyone elce good at these Suckers?

ATS?

Its an Excursion, 7.3, Dont tow over 10k Ever..

if your ever in the ft collins area and you want er fixed take her to dave at advanced trans and clucth. builds a mean transmission, had mine for 2 years and it never once has gone over 180 degrees

No. Don't go to ATS. There trannies don't last past 15,000 miles. Everything else they have is great. But there trannys just don't last.

I don't know about that, I got about 40k miles from mine before it went out. Granted it was rated for 400hp on a truck that might have been making 300hp at the time. BTW and JW are the most recommended options but you would have to get it shipped.

I know this thread is kind of old but I'm curious of the issues you guys had with your transmissions.
