Fuel leak fixed, fuel mileage crap now

Howdy all,

Saturday I was travelin and developed a fuel leak in the fuel line from the fuel filter to the driver side head. Got the part without too much trouble and had everything back together in no time. Now my fuel mileage monitor in the truck is goin goofy 11.1 mpg-14.7 mpg and any number in between.

Any one got any ideas? Plannin a trip for the 4th and want to trust that my truck and gauges are doin good.

2003, F-350, 7.3L, ZF6, Crew Cab.
