Colorado performance guys

Hey guys, I'm looking into getting into a newer (to me) powerstroke.
I'm doing all my research now to prepare. I'm thinking of an 08 6.4.

What are you performance guys doing in Colorado for emissions, particularly in the denver Mateo area?

I'm getting out of my 2nd cummins. Each year I had was the last year they looked for anything. My truck was the last year before they reqd. A kitty so straight piped the truck.

I hear the DPF delete is a must on the 6.4's, so are you guys removing them, then reinstalling for emissions?

What else are you guys doing year round then changing before emissions testing?

I am not a 6.4 guy, but I just put my truck back to stock, tuner and exhaust, when I have testing done. I know some guys in our group have still passed with their tunes on, but I didn't feel like chancing it.
