Anyone interested in trying to go up on the weekend of the 8th or 9th of Jan since we are getting so much snow? Nothing to extreme since the snow will be a challenge in itself. Post up if you would be

Doesn't matter really! If y'all know of somewhere, that would be fine. Lik I said though, not into tearing my truck up but do want some what of a challenge. I am in Elizabeth so right between most of. Let me know of ideas that ya have!

I don't want to go tearing my truck up either. I will go do some wheelin, but nothing too crazy. I usually like to just go run mountain roads like Old Stage, but I have done that quite a bit and it's kinda boring, unless you are going to Rosemont Reservoir to fish. A mountain run I have always liked is the Phantom Canyon run. I go to Penrose where Phantom Canyon starts and end up dropping into C. Springs. Here are some pics I posted in our Colorado outdoors pic thread awhile back. Just an idea, but there are plenty other we can find.

Do ya think it's gonna be high enough for the snow to be there and ya think there will be any challenging places there to try and bust through? If so, that would be fine with me.

I have been up there when it there was snow on the ground, nothin too crazy. Migh have a better chance to get into a lil more challenging places coming down the old stage part, but there isn't much of that there either. With the way the weather has been, I think we would have to push even further west.

Maybe Dannan will jump in and throw some ideas out. He knows more places to go around here than I do.

just give me the word and I will take the wife rodeo out. also let me know where yalls want to go abouts. there are some up on rampart road I know of, some up rainbow falls. and to much snow but more over my fairplay I know of......I can keep going but you get the Idea.
