Colorado Springs
Howdy all,
On our trip to Kansas we are going to shoot over to Colorado Springs and see some sites. Other than the usual sites to see anything that the locals know about that is a must see? What's a good economical place to stay? Thanks, Craig |

Nothing out of the ordinary, but make sure you take a drive up to Pike's Peak and check out NORAD at Cheyenne mountain. I think they still do tours... I'm jealous. Haven't been through Colorado in about 3 years. Beautiful country. If I could get the wife and kids to go along with it I'd pack us all up and head for the rockies at the drop of a hat. |

![]() I don't know much about CO, Springs, except its a strong conservative stronghold here and it's freaking huge too. Takes 10-15 minutes to weave from the north end to the south end, on the hwy!
