Brochures ....

Been thinking of a way to get guys into the sport we are a part of. Its hard to run up to someone and just start talking about some random website we are apart of and what not. They'd think you were NUTS!

(dont ask me how i know )

But i got to thinking, and we need a flyer or brochure we can hand out to people or stick on windshields of nice trucks we see to get people to come on over to the .org and join the chapter.

Does anyone have experience or a way to make up something like this? Money shouldnt be an issue, we will find that. I think its all worth it.
May put our logo, name, a little about us, and a little about the .org.
We can include some our the nicer trucks in the flyer as well to recruit!

The problem with sticking something on peoples windshields is if they are like me it will just piss them off. I talk to lots of guys about the site and I don't get a whole lot of crazy looks.

Well anyone else have any ideas? I know Josh says no, but i know for a fact people would like having something to read rather than me just telling them what its about.

Maybe the putting on windshields would be annoying but having something with me in the truck to hand out when someone asks would be nice. Even if its just a card with some info on it!

I know this may sound silly and i'm not a member (i'd like to be but a friend of mine started a business from the ground up by making a fan page on facebook.. it seemed stupid at first. but now he has over 4000 fans across Oregon and Washington that know about the business just by making a profile. So many people have a facebook and its really easy to get out on there.. Just an option

I believe a few years ago he started out as AMR, but now its Fun Country Powersports. They're always busy now. They just had to put up a new building due to traffic. Making a fan page is pretty easy though, and once you get a few people to "like it" it shows up on there page, which interests other when they look at it. It'll go pretty fast i think

That I can definately help you with! (I didnt think my job would be useful on this site lol) if you are already logged in on another tab, click on this link Create a Page | Facebook and it will get you right into making the page! once its started just let us all know and all we have to click is become a fan. Obviously your going to want the logo in there, i'd throw in some pictures of the members truck and all you need is a little bit about what you do and your in!
