Hey Skinny,

I know a couple of guys that are powerstroke techs. I'm checking with both right now to see which one can look at your truck today. IT sounds like your turbo may be on the way out...

I'll get back to you shorty.

No worries, I'm not sure if he's super busy today but if you explain what is going on I'm sure he can get you in. His shop is in Commerce City.

Talked with him and he gave me some pointers to try and narrow it down . Biggest thing was the pre filter was pretty bad shape over my afe stage 2 cai so I took that off and it has not done it since . I'm running the warhammer tune and it's blowing black smokie everytime I take off and it's quite a bit . After I took off the prefilter it doesn't seem to do it as bad . I'm gonna change the tune and run around town for a bit and see if that works if not I guess I'll be stuck here till Thursday and he can put a new turbo on then

Well took it down to his shop and drove it with him and he drove it . It only does it at 40 mph and just for a couple seconds and stops . He seems to think it's something to do with the cai but isn't sure but also said he doesn't think it's a turbo issue. I'm gonna head home in the morning and see what happens . I drove her on the interstate and around town and only time it did it was at 40 mph so I'm gonna head back and hope for the best . Had no turbo play or signs of bad bearings or anything and he said " this thing is a beast and runs awesome!!" So idk kinda stumped on this one
