I have been noticing that my truck keeps saying that my trailer is disconnected. I am not pulling a trailer. Also all my brake lights have been on.... left, right, and 3rd brake light. So I disconnected my factory Trailer Brake Controller and my brake lights will work as normal but I am still getting the Trailer Disconnected warning in the dash. Any ideas?

Any aftermarket towing accessories, like adaptors for the trailer plug?
If not check your fuses first, not sure off the top of my head which one it is, I'll see if I can find it tomorrow at work. If not that then it could be a bad ground, or maybe a faulty trailer brake control module, I believe that those ones had some problems. I'll take a look and see if Ford has anything out on them. I usually have an adaptor when I am towing something, but right now I have nothing on at all and the adaptor is out. Even with my Trailer Brake Control Module disconnected, I was still getting the Trailer Disconnected message.
