Door ajar sensor

Anyone here changed out the door ajar on their truck lately?
How to and what to expect?
Dealer sensor VS aftermarket?

I have. You need to figure out which one it is. Take off that door panel, remove the power door lock actuator, and replace the door ajar contacts.

Since that rarely works to correct the issue, try just spraying down your door latches with WD40, and slamming the door a few times. That seems to work about 90% of the time.

Been too long to remember exact details. It was a few years ago. I seem to remember a bit of swearing involved.....
