Colorado Centennial State Powerstroke 4x4 and Camping Trip

Guys,

Let's start planning the camping trip as well. Figure @ least 2 nights camping.


I have a few ideas of areas that we can camp at. The trails that we will run be passable in a stock truck.

I have done a 3 day camping Trip in and around Summit Country. Trails going up Vail Mountain, Breckenridge, and then a couple of trails near loveland pass on the west side of it.

I think Late June or Early July will be best. Let's pick a date and start planning this!

We could easily spend 3 days of wheeling in Summit Country!

July may not work for some of us since Ford Fest will be that month, but let's throw ideas around anyway.

Yeah that's it, they changed the name last year. For some dumb reason I thought it was in July.

How about July 4th weekend?

Not sure what you guys do but This should be a family event...

The only problem I have with that weekend is that A LOT of people go camping for the 4th so the mountains will be crowded.

The areas that we will camp in is usually not that busy over 4th of july weekend...

That might work, but I normally throw a party at my house for the neighbors, family and friends. July is too far out for me to plan anyway

Is this up north somewhere, no major highways to travel?
