Mountain Driving Transmission Question

I just got done coming down Eisenhower and my transmission never downshifted in fourth. It was engaged the whole time, is it supposed to do this while coasting?

After I press the Tow/Haul button mine will down shift once I lightly press the brakes for a short time.

Mine downshifts as needed. Clutch in, move giant lever, clutch out.
