Transfer tanks

Anybody know of a place to get these that don't cost rediculous money? I'd like to get an 80+ gallon L-shape for my truck but holy hell they're expensive.

Also, does anybody have any experiance mounting a tool box in the "L" of the tank with a flat bed? On a truck with a bed its not an issue as the toolbox is supported by the bed sides, but on the flat bed it would have to be supported by the tank.

Cheapest place to buy L tanks is northerntool.com. You can buy one and have it shipped cheaper than buying it locally. You can also look on craigs list, there are usually several for sale on there. I just sold my 110g L tank because it was to big and bought a 80g from northerntool. So for the toolbox mounting. I would think the only way to do it and not have any issues would be to weld some plate steal to the side of the tank so that you can bolt the toolbox to the plate steal.

I found the one in my sig on craigslist for $50 and the sanded and painted it myself.

Ive got a few 50 gallon square tanks for sale or trade down here in Trinidad if anybodys lookin. Just need a paint job...make u a heck of a deal!

I was guessin around 75 bucks. They need cleaned out and a paint job....The good thing is they have never been in a truck. they've been permently stand mounted and used in the shop but their not all beat up.

The company that I work for is getting rid of all sorts of L-tanks (fuel and oil), probably close to 20 push guards for the Ford's and all sorts of bed box's (including the ratt packs) but Im a bit worried about buying that stuff being all the way down here and trying to resell it..

Are the push guards only push bumpers or are they the big beefy ones?

I may be interested in a L tank since that would work better with a 5th wheel...
