My 96 "International" F-250 build
As stated in the introduction thread my name is Richard and I just got my first diesel truck. Its a 1996 F-250 extended cab, 5spd, 4wd, with a flatbed on it. I got this truck to tow my 92 YJ with as 39.5's and hydraulic steering don't make for good highway manners.
Here is what it originally looked like ![]() After some facial recontructive surgery ![]() Tonight I installed a tool box for the bed and finished rattle spraying the sides of the bed black again. I didn't bother with the bed surface itself as it won't last worth a ****e. I also installed my "Centennial States Powerstrokes" sticker in the rear window. ![]() ![]() After tomorow all those tires on the back will be sitting on a junked truck and I'll be using some adpaters to make this hog a dually. Also, big props to my neighbor Jared for hooking me up with this truck and fixing all the really bad leaks on this thing. Not to mention all the parts I've been allowed to "borrow" from him.

So, what all do you have planned for the rig? Injectors, tuner, intercooler? |

And its a dually
![]() ![]() It already has a 3" downpipe, 5" exhaust, 17* HPOP, and a TS Performance selectable chip. I want to put A/C back in it, fix up the interior, and then do an intercooler. Other than that I'm probably going to leave it as is. I don't want to hop it up too much as its main purpose is to tow my Jeep and I don't want to have to worry about the EGT's getting stupid high while pulling those long hills. |

Filled it up for the first time tonight, stupid 75$ limit. I swiped the card again and forced in a whopping 5$ more fuel. It actually cut off before 1 gallon but I refused to only charge my card 3$ and some change. I might have to drive this thing conservatively, but man is that 75hp tune fun.
I do think something is holding the engine back though because the 100hp and 140hp tunes don't really seem much improved (neither power or smoke) over the 75hp setting. There is a noticeable different between the 50hp and 75hp tunes though, and I really like the 75hp setting. |

I've been super busy the last month with life and haven't made it on here much for that reason. My latest undertaking is prepping my new dually bed for paint and I really haven't made any progress on that at all. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Enough Hijacking Richard's thread though!
