Well finally got both headlights in and the header. Assuming nothing goes awry hope to have them on this weekend. Can't wait to actually be able to see at night. Also plan on putting in my HIDs I took out of my Ram, since they are same bulb style as 05.

youll love the hids in them i just did mine couple months ago and so glad i did.

I did some preliminary looking and it sounded like you cannot adjust the lights up and down, just right and left? Or am I mistaken. Looking at the lights themsleves I only see one adjustment looking piece and it looks like it is for left to right.

you know thats a good ? i didnt have to adjust mine as they were off of another truck that i guy had went to harley lights. but ill have to do some checking know.

Well it turned out to be much more of a PIA than I had anticipated. Ended up having to take the top two bracket things for the AC condenser off to wiggle it around since there are two parts that go behind the condenser. Finally got everything on yesterday afternoon but didn't feel like messing with installing the HIDs as my gf wanted to go run some errands. So my plan is probably this weekend since I have a busy week after work this week.

When I pulled everything off I found a few things. A. The header piece on there was a POS, not sure if it had been replaced before or not but I got so many damn fiberglass splinters its ridiculous. Definitely wear gloves and long sleeves for this part. B. The stock headlights look like they do have 2 adjustments one for left right one for up down, but the up down is way on the back in the middle of the light so would be silly hard to get to with everything on the truck. The 05 lights only have one adjustment and to me it looks like it is left/right only. I did find though that with some adjustments with the screws holding the lights in you can aim the 05 ones higher if needed. I plan on doing this as well as the driverside one seems low. But first going to put the HIDs in and see since the bulb is a little different.

My impression so far is they seem a bit brighter with the cheapo regular bulbs the lights came with. Definitely looks better than stockers just aesthetically. The 05 header I got off ebay was so much nicer than the one I pulled off.

As for cost I spent about ~$200 for the lights and header. HID kit was originally like ~$200 something since it is a 55w kit I had to get to work with my 08 Ram. The things are damn bright with the extra wattage.

Looks great. I hear ya about the truck being dirty, I was going to wash mine yesterday but never got around to doing it and today is too freakin windy, if I get it wet, all the dirt blowing around will just stick to the truck.
