ZF5 rebuild in Portland Oregon

I posted in the main section of the forum but here seems like a better place.

Over the last three months or so, my trans has been getting progressively worse. Reverse is almost gone and sincros in 2,3,4. Anyone have recommendations on where to take it or what it should cost? I'm going to start calling around tomorrow. I'll probably get it done by thanksgiving. Sadly, I do not have the tools or time to do it myself.

If you end up having it done, check these guys out! They rebuilt my ZF5 that's behind my 351W (which was my daily driver until last year) about 5 years ago and its still going great, and IIRC the full rebuild (bearings, synchros, etc...basically everything but gears) was about $950. And the Dalles is only a little ways from Portland....

I'm at the coast, Nehalem Bay area. But I've got lots of friends in the Portland area. I've got it at a shop now and am waiting for a call back. He thought that it may just be that the clutch is not fully disengaging. Seems to make since...
