So, I ended up BSing with the Christmas tree farm guy about powerstrokes today, haha.

I backed my truck up to load the tree we cut and he came out asking "OK, so what have you done to it? I know a powerstroke, and that one don't sound quite right" Ends up this guy has had a '97, '99, '04, and his current '11, and is pretty knowledgable about diesels. Started asking me right away about what was done to mine, who tuned it, hows the EGR cooler/oil cooler holding up, studs, ect.... He was baffeled that I was at almost 90K tuned/stock coolers and bolts

Yeah, it is always nice talking to someone about our trucks.

The last time I did, it was a Eastside firefighter that wanted to know what Bullet Proof Diesel was cuz I was wearing their shirt.

So he was asking me about tuning and what the best tuner to get.

It was a nice conversation, but it was clear that I knew more than he did and he got a little annoyed about that and moved on.

Oh well...

Ya so we pulled Nick's(porkchop) wheel and changed it out for a wicked wheel then pulled Robert's turbo.....The collector bolts are not lookin good. One roke off and one is siezed til we decide to heat and try again tomorrow. It's stuck in the garage til put back together. Turbo has lil end play and lotsa side play.....

So my blower motor is a acting up again. Wonder is something is wrong with box.

Well Robert's truck is stuck in the garage til tomorrow. The broken off bolt in the up pipe collector ended up turning into a cracked collector housing after drilling/heating/cooling. Ya pretty much sucks but atleast we found one here in town and we'll throw it together tomorrow afternoon.
