Side Dishes for SSS Dinner On Friday Night

Ok everyone, we need help as you all know getting the side dishes and desserts together. We also need some forks. Figure around 100-125 people.

Some one wanna clarify that number? I will edit this post accordingly.

I am starting the sign up sheet, with names, and what dish you are gonna bring. You probably can buy some food and stuff up there if you dont wanna make something at home. Post up, we need to get this wrapped up ASAP!!!

Im bringin the bog! Some easy and great sides with this are: Bread and butter pickle, potatoe salad(can be purchased locally at a grocery store),bread. These will compliment the bog very well, and require little to no effort to prepare. Just a few ideas for ya Nick. Desserts are another story.LOL!!

On Edit: Hope you don't mind

Shane you posted this in another thread.

About the Org. dinner Friday night. The menu is simple; Good ole southern chicken pileau cooked in a large black cast iron pot, light bread, and sweet pickle. The dinner is being sponsored by Trucks Unlimited, and cooked by me. IF (its not necessary) anyone wants to help, we are gonna need a large pack of the throw away styrofoam or plastic plates(ones divided into sections) pack of 125 or so. Also will need plastic forks and napkins for the same amount of folks. Also, drinks are on you the individual since there will most certainly be an "array" of different beverages needed. Some will choose to have soft drinks, others water, and still others will have a beer with their meal. So I guess its BYOD. Someone also mentioned desserts. If you feel you want to contribute, and would like to bring something sweet, by all means sign up. We will be glad to have it. Again, not everyone eats dessert, so we will just see how that goes. As far as I am concerned, I am looking forward to it already!! Cant wait!

A good idea for desserts will be things like cookies, cupcakes. Things that are easy and do not require refrigeration! They also do not really require a plate or fork. We want to make things as simple as possible. Alot of this can be picked up once we get there up you so desire so you don't have to haul it. It is up to you.

Thats not just some random number.

Its the amount shane is cooking for, and what scott and those putting this thing together have told us.

Yes it is mainly for Org folks but I am sure there will be others besides Org folks there. I fed more than 25 people last year.
