I tested it with an ohm meter. I do not have hog ring pliers but am sure I will need them. I plan on bringing that and I need to replace a blend door actuator for the A/C.

You shouldn't need hog ring pliers the seat should just be a cover essentially, it should just pull off and the seat heater is laying underneath it. Thats how mine was when I changed it a buddy did the electric part as I pulled out the old one and fed the new one too him. And belz they do sometimes just burn up and over time I heard the wires can break in them.

Pretty much everything I've read says you need hog ring pliers.

Ive got a set of hog pliers somewhere around here... however, they are genuine, not that mess made for car seats

If I can find them I can bring them to Jeffs, i'll look tomorrow.

Good morning. Cool here this morning. Got to stand outside for a couple of hours this morning for a ground breaking ceremony. Hope it warms up quickly.
