I hope you have 2 trucks!?

Get a load of this and see if it makes sense. Linemen from different parts of the country, including here, are up north trying to help restore power. At one point they were not allowed in New York City and New Jersey if they weren't Union. The Governor changed this because they were not getting power restored has quickly as other areas. These non union linemen that were trying to restore power for...these people had eggs and other objects thrown at them while they were working. Thrown at them by the people they were trying to help. Now a lineman from Florida has been severely beaten by a resident in the area he was working. I don't get it. These people in the begining would rather go without power than let non union workers help them. Then they decide that they wanted power sooner and would take the help. Then they treat those there to help them this way. And beating a worker???!!! Hope they catch the guy, or at least try. If the police department is union then it will probably not be persued. Makes it hard to feel sorry for these two cities. I know there has to be some there that appriciate the help and I do feel for those that have lost so much. This is a story you probably won't see on the news.

Thanks,
Bobby

That's not really surprising, i've known people that have disowned life long friends due to them crossing picket lines because they HAD to to make ends meet for their family. Those people definitely have a unique way of thinking. If I was up there trying to help and I got eggs thrown at me simply because I was a non union worker, i'd pack my **** up and tell em all where they all could go to keep warm...

Yet another reason why I never have and never will support unions...

Well this trip home from GA is not going so good. Stuck in travelers rest. Just had a trailer tire go down and we have no spare. This is gonna be a long night.

Off to walmart to try and find a plug kit and hope a plug will hold to get us home

Morning guys sitting here waiting on clothes to dry then back to my parents for more house renovations. I have been missing days like these since I first moved to SC. There is nothing like a good day of manual labor with you bros and father, even had my daughter there yesterday picking up drops from the skill saw and putting them in the garage and trash in the roll off. Have to say the only thing I am missing from SC is the people! Hope all is well with everyone and holler at yall later!

My Hunting Vacation is over, back to work tomorrow. Looks like we have a big week coming up. Academy Sports pouring a 1000 yard slab in Anderson, 2 different 1000 yard slabs out of our Powdersville plant. Will make up for my time off with some 20 hr days.

Thanks,
Bobby
