Yes asphalt NOPE not a good day. Someone else was suppling the asphalt. Our equipment was in spartanburg and had to be brought out this am. They decided last night they wanted us to pave. I show up on the job at 7:00 am to start cleaning. The equipment, Paver,2 rollers, tack wagon show up at 10:00 from spartanburg. Ha no tack in the wagon so I had to go to Columbia to get tack. Not a problem because we were not to get asphalt till noon. Noon comes and no hot mix, the people supplying the asphalt didnt contact the asphalt company for payment By the time I get this cleared up its 4:00 till I get asphalt. we put down 140 tons and got done rollin by 7:00 ugh what a stressfull day. Gonna charge them extra for the overtime.

Sorry to hear about your day. Sounds like a Monday and not a Friday! I had a short one at work. Went to the N. Greenville College area and picked up an 18' equipment trailer to haul my tractor w/ mower to a friends place north of Greer tomorrow. I have been the "bush hog man" for a good many years as we prepare for an annual blue grass festival he puts on every year. I will be under continous power from sun up to sun down to complete. Sunday AM I will feel like a tractor ran over me! Always do. It's fun though. You and Vickie interested in Blue Grass? We have a good time. Lots of work preparing.
