Mornin all I inow its gonna be a good day.

Got the registration sticker for the boat last night. Its only 2 1/2 years late. No thanks to what used to call cape fear yatch sales low life **&)%&^%$(). Gonna get a hair cut and some break fluid come back and fun up the boat and fill the trailer. If the weather hold just might hit the water to burn out the nasty gass.

Have a good day all.

Chuck when it rains it pours, but you know you didn't want to save the old ones anyway.

Anybody have some bolt cutters?? The tung lock is stuck and the key is broke off. I guess thats what I get for only takeing the boat out 3 times last year and this will be the first this year. And last year I thought the breaks weren't working so well, sure as chit fluid was almost empty. Good thing I still have Gunny's bleeder tool, just hope the teets will open.

Instead of using a bolt cutter, try an angle grinder, OR high speed cutoff tool. I used the cutoff tool with an air chisel to get off a lock for my truck's hitch. The lock corroded so bad inside that the key broke off after I got it in there.

I would just cut little sections out of the actual lock (not the shaft) and then try to beat it to death with the air chisel. After about 6 rounds with either, the lock literally fell apart. It was noisy as hell and I definately recommend wearing ear plugs and some eye protection.

A little bit of PB Blaster will help loosen things up too, but it might catch on fire (it's easy to put out though).

Hope that helps

Your tellen me. I only have some crap AZ special that someone left in my room but have a hole set of tools BACK HOME in Utah or my dad might have taken them to Texas. When ever I need to do any wrenching I go to the base hobby shop they have yet to not have the tool that I needed. Maybe someday I'll make the drive, I guess Austin Texas wouldn't be that bad.
