Well I guess sleeping in was not an option?

Drizzle of rain this morning and more expected here later. May keep me from being able to evaluate the tranny work I did yesterday. I think I did some good though.

Hope everyone had a safe 4th and gets rested up for the work week. Yuk! I like these three day weekends.

Yeah. I watched the live reports the other night when 100s of town folks were gathering to get answers or take care of it themselves. I would be leaving town if I was that guy. Wouldn't want to be driving a Ford Sport around there either!

BRB.......Been smelling something dead around here for a week now. I found it. A newborn deer right by the house. I would blame the dogs but they have not been running. I guess the mother left it here and never came back. I need to go move it. Would really be sad if it was Pam's pet deer that came back here to give birth? I'm pretty sure it was made in to sausage last year.

yea, news said that guy was spotted by 2 different people here in my small town . I live outside city limits, would be a bad thing for him to get spotted out here

I'm a pretty good shot!

Yeah.....I just hope some innocent person doesn't get hurt in all the excitement. If I looked like that drawing or drove a Ford Sport, I would leave town for a while!

hey you all. went to my bro's shop last night and watched the fireworks. Then we decided to go down to waffle house in columbus, NC and eat. Well, I drove my truck and had my cousin and his G/F in there. Brian drove his dodge(fuel plate, fuel turned up timing bumped up, single stack, 6 sp 4wd Ex cab LB 95 model.) and had hi wife in there. Wel, down the interstate he wants to play. So, he downshifted, and so did mine, but he had the jump on me cause mine started out in OD, then Downshifted. well, I passed him pretty easily. I didnt thinkI would have though.

On the way back up the grade, which is like 8%, steepest mountain grade this side of missisippi river, he wants to run again. But not downshifting again, just pulling it hard while in OD. So, I had to keep my foot about 1/2 throttel or a little better most of the initial pull so it wouldnt downshift. I stayed right with him. once I really started pickin up speed(around 80) i could let her eat more. I looked back and I saw his HID's in my rear about 4 truck lengths back. I kept on and topped the grade at 100, egts were in the 1300 range. I tried to kep them lower than that, so I was in and out of the throttle alot, but he never caught up! hahahahahahaha. He aint got too much to talk about now. hahahaahha. it was good cause we actually had others see it so he knew I didnt downshift. that was fun. hahaha.

EDIT: OH! I realized I left this part out. know which tune I was in? ECONO!!!! LMAO!! thats the best part. I wondered why I wasnt blowing black smoke behind me. hahahaha

just got in from church. we were supposed to have a picnic, but it rained it out, so we met where we usually do, and ate and played some hardcore halfcourt b-ball. I am tired now!
