Evening fellers! Got the cooler installed in time to take it on a trail ride in the mountains. 83 degrees or so and saw no real improvement in tranny temps. Installed the new bypass valve and took it out again on the highway. By this time the temp was 73-75 degrees - not a real good test. The preliminary results, however, are that the work I did today seemed to drop the tranny temps a good bit. Maybe 20-25 degrees. I'll post results tomorrow when the temps should be a little warmer. I've got my fingers crossed! Right now I would say the bypass valve was stuck open. |
