Can I borrow a dump trailer???

Anyone have a dump trailer they would be generous enough to lend me? I want to get some compost from the local yard waste facility and need more room than my truck has.

How many loads are you after? I don't have a dump trailer or know anyone who has one either.

Belz, look for a Sunbelt rental or a trailer rental place in your area. That's what I've done in the past when I've needed one. Sunbelt usually has 2 yard and 4 yard dump trailers.

I've been thinking of buying one, but I need to develop more business for it to pay for it first

I wanted two loads in one shot for a total of 5 cu yards. Even if I do one my truck won't fit the 2.5 cu yards. I'll look into renting a trailer. I can afford the compost but I don't think I can fit the trailer rental. Unless its cheap.

Belz you should be able to get it delivered for way less than renting a trailer.

If your truck is a long box with no tool box I bet you could get 2-2.5 yds in the bed.

I don't have a dump trailer but If I wind up needing to go to Raleigh sometime soon I can drive the truck and try to help you out. How far is the place your getting the compost from, from your house?

Belz, just to let you know. One cubic yard of compost weighs around 1400 lbs. Just don't want you overloading your truck or running the chance of getting pulled for weight.

It takes me about 30 min. to push mow the yard.

Now my parents house is a different story. 3 hrs with a New Holland TC25 w/ 5ft mowing deck.

Belz if you hate mowing, throw down some round up and mulch
