I will have to dig up some photos of years ago. I really miss hunting, but I just can't haul a deer out of the woods if my life depended on it and no way am I going to hunt for a trophy. Nothing pisses me off more than that. Nice pics Chad, I use to go Desert Quail hunting and pheasant hunting when I lived out West. Pheasant hunting is like hitting a football, not much of a challenge withing 25-35 yards. But the Desert Quail now that is a different story!!! Never had a dog, just stalk hunted, but did ok some days. But those bugers are fast as all get out. They are also good eating but you need a few of them, of coarse I weighed 260lbs when I lived out there, lol!!! I have done some grouse hunting here in NC, don't have a lot of them around here, but when I see one I pop out the 22 and have a nice supper. The bob white quail population was destroyed here when the fish and game released turkey vultures years ago. When I moved here 16 years ago I never saw quail. Now I see small covey's here and there. Still don't hunt them, I would rather let the population build.
