Hey ya'll just wanted to say that I bought my first house, and sign tomorrow! I can't wait to live in NC! I'm so stoked to have my own place, and own garage!

Depending on where you bought you may be going back in time. At least I did when I went from So CA to Mayberry RFD. Totally different world. I didn't think places like this existed any more. Great place to raise a family and you can't see the air you are breathing. What could be better than that? I grew up in Burbank, but lived in LaCrescenta, Lake Arrowhead, and Fontana. Welcome to NC.

Thanks guys! I'm from PA but in the Marine Corps. I was in Cali the past two years, but lived in NC for 5 years before that! I got orders back and going to be there for a while. It's a small town called Richlands. It is like NChornet said, stuck in time, and I love it, and love the Carolinas! Sweet tea, great people and great fishing!
