Wounded Warrior Project
When filling out your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to this address:
A Recovering American Soldier c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center 6900 Georgia Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20307-5001. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much would get. Just a thought to help those soldiers have a better holiday |

I know this is y'alls chapter thread, but I like the idea and I am going to post it to our guys as well. |

Maybe a mod could move this thread to a main page so the entire ORG sees this fantastic idea.

not sure how you go about doing it, but when i came through germany the uso there and in dc were awesome. they had all kinds of donated items for us, many of them home made. in particular there were handing out hand made knitted blankets to us if we wanted one. i have a blanket made out of fleece that was given to me in germany.
anyway, just another way to say thanks. |
