Charlotte NC, Concord NC technically, would be a great place for a large diesel truck event. The Zmax Dragway and the Lowes Motor Speedway Dirt Track are side by side. Diesel drag racing, sled pulling, diesel monster trucks, a perfect place for all. If anyone has pull with any racing associations, they are over looking a perfect spot for a big event.

You have any idea what it would take to rent that facility for a day? Have at it and let me know what day you have it rented for,

WOW! Looks like a good event. Maybe we will get to see some Powerstrokes in action. Either way looks like they will be blowing black smoke.

I know Chuck and Nick were planning on going. I may down and check it out as well.

I just went to the site and did some reading. It appears that this is a event more geared towards commercial OTR trucks and construction type trucks. It isn't something for diesel pick up trucks. I think it would still be cool to check it out.

Seeing big rigs drag race will be cool. I work for a concrete company and our mechanic and myself are going and taking the wives. I have not been to any diesel events. Would rather go to one with pick ups, but this will be a good start and hopefully some fun.

you should come to the Golden Corner Sled Pull this weekend. There is always a few of us cpa guys there. Its held in westminster, tractors start around 3 and trucks usually start around 6. Its a lot of fun and admission is $5. If you need directions, just ask me or most anybody else in the cpa..

Yeah, your not far from the pulls here at all. Just off 123 in Westminister (just out of Seneca) me or Matt can get you directions or read up on the thread in the CPA Section.
