CPA members: Help with Food at SSS'10

[HVAC SuperTech]

Hey guys. The menu at SSS is going to be a smoked pig. Since we are host chapter, I am calling on you guys to help with the fixins and food stuffs.

We will need:
Plates
Forks/Knives
Napkins
Side dishes: was thinking of baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad
Some kind of dessert.
Drinks(non alcholic)
Cups? Unless we buy cans? might be easier?
Ice(will need some coolers also)


Being that we can get most or all of this stuff up there, we dont need to bring it before hand. We can also see what kind of turnout we have to know what quantities we need to buy of each thing.

Post up what you would like to contribute. Also, if you think of something else, lets hear it!

Hey I have 6ft smoker on a trailer, if you need, can bring early if needed, and will be there, PM me for stuff that needs to be brought, My uncle and I can cook one hell of a mess of BBQ, if you need cooks too..be glad to assist

I dunno how many we are expecting. But Id figure around 75-125?

It might be easier if everyone pitches in and we do a run to the grocery store. This is what Mike and I did last year. That way if member X says he is bringing plates and he doesn't show up we aren't without plates and it doesn't put the burden on someone else. You know there are always a few that something will come up and they can't come, it's just life. Just an idea. I'll bring whatever y'all want.

How close is there a grocery store to the shop?

theres one right up town Dave. I was thinking we could all chip in and make a big grocery/beer/whatever run when we get there. thats a good idea Kevin.

Just wanted to make sure to tell you guys that I thought it would be good to help out again this year. As if we would ever have a problem with that!
