Going to Cody,WY
Any tips or advice for traveling through the bighorns? We are leaving WI and heading for Cody,WY to camp then driving into Yellowstone during the days. I heard pulling up the mountains out of Buffalo into Worland can get kind of hairy. I have a 2006 F-250 towing a 2006 30.5 BHS Jayco Jay-Flight fifth wheel. I am going from Buffalo up Hwy 16 over the mountains back down to Worland. I am looking for any tips and advice. Thanks

You are going the correct way, the north route
hiway 14 and 14A you don't want to tow over. Hiway 16 has a pretty long -long pull but not real steep. The north route is steep. Make sure you go do Beartooth Hiway. Good Luck. |
