New/Used Camper

We went out Saturday and got us a New/used camper. ITs a 1997 Terry 24'. I have had a caper before but I was pulling it with a F250 with a 5.4 gas. My power stroke pulls the crap out of it. Its really nice to pull a camper with a truck that can handle it. I dont know for sure what im more excited about, having a great pulling truck or the camper.

congrats, it looks like a nice camper. I traded up this year from a 2003 33' Kountry Komfort tt to a 2007 33' cougar fw dual slide. I was impressed. 8700# dry weight behind my 99 350 cc sd 4x4 psd. Pulled it like a dream! Maybe I will see ya at the grounds!

BTW, used is definately the way to go.... I saved nearly half the price of the rv by getting one that was two years old!

Yeah we considered new but found that even if they are a year old you save thousands and then I came accross this one and paid cash. This is my second camper but my wifes first, so we wanted to get somthing inexpensive to make sure she likes it. So far we already plan on upgrading next year.

i know the feeling... I had but my wife hadnt. we got the tt for somewhere for her disabled brother to stay. After he moved out of it and we used it she got the bug! It is a nice trailer, but the fifth wheel is so much nicer, two slides and a bunkhouse. list was near $35000 new and I got it for under $20000. with the economy right now it is a buyers market!
