If your still in bar harbor, on your way out almost into elsworth there's a place on your right that is callled daves BBQ pit or something like that, all smoked stuff. It's just a roach coach thing setup in a parking lot, and has a good size trailer setup as the smoke pit. (over near lowes and home depot, think wal mart is there someplace too) Do yourself a favor and grab some baby backs! Their corn bread is normally pretty good too.

I was just in bar harbor last week, and boothbay this week.

If you guys have time before pulling out, the fryburg fair started this week. Thats the best fair around here to go to, it's on the other side of maine, but it'd be worth taking a day out and going to check it out. It actually started a week early. It'll be running till saturday or sunday.

Yep, Crazy daves, thats it. Good ribs bud.

It's really hit or miss. We have good weeks, and bad weeks, just like any other area. Suppossed to be showers and clearing up further south of you, don't know where your headed.

Maine is a great place to visit bud, especially if your into outdoors stuff. Any season there's something to do around here. I'm actually headed out to fyreburg in a lil while for the truck pulls.

Only complaint us Mainers have is the high taxes, and the state is tough for small business.

Gotta start somewhere, and you only get big from being small. Tough trying to do a start up when everything is stacked against you. We're one of the top 3 taxed states in the country, and it's proven that maine is tough on any business, big or small. Cabelas just built a store in Scarborough, but they had to fight tooth and nail with the town and state to do it, and I'd say they're a fairly large company.
