the paper wasps are nasty we have tasseled before. i used about 4 cans of the foam on them and they only have ever gotten me once. they BITE and sting. what ever you do if your allergic and feeling ballsy keep an epi pen and a cell phone close by and have another person there. anaphalactic reactions are a bi**hif they live in the ground no big deal, spray the living crap out of the entrance with a whole can. i would suggest a wasp and hornet spray for the best results.

I sell the wholesale chemical to pest control people. It sounds like 'cady killers to me. Since the Cicada's are gone, that may explain the aggressivness of them, they are just hungry. If there are only a couple (less than 10) the wasp spray that the others have mentioned is fine. If it is like my yard was (thousands) you have to get someone to fog it with a fogging machine.

I JUST USE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER THAT YOU CAN REFILL AND CHARGE UP WITH A AIR COMPRESSOR AND I FILL IT WITH SOAP AND WATER AND SPRAY THE HECK OUT OF THEM AND RUN LIKE HELL MOSTLY LEAVE THE DOOR OF THE TRUCK OPEN AND RUN IN THERE AND HIDE FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THEN GO BACK AND CHECK OUT HOW MANY FATALITIES I HAVE CREATED

Shame I dont live closer...i've been wanting to try out a tool out on bees. Years ago i had great success with an air sandblaster on a small wasp net (Knocks em right out of the sky). I have since progressed to a 3000 psi water pressure washer ....with a sand injection wand. It empties a drywall bucket of sand in less than a minute.

I didn't read all replies. Sounds like the wood bees we get sometimes around here. Hornet and Wasp Srpay, Gasoline. Diesel Fuel will make them drop just like using regular oil. Good pump up sprayer and they will all drop to the ground. " SQUASH'EM ".
Good Luck!!

Looks like I'm going to have to call an exterminator. I was hoping there would be something stupid I could do like put out a cup of something they're attracted to and they would drown in it or something like that
