Go for as much trailer as you can afford, bud. That seems like a decent setup, although I am personally not a fan of the canvas pop outs. When we are at the dunes, I can hear the 2-stroke bikes riding by and I have hard walls; I couldn't imagine those with canvas pop outs... Oh and think about the A/C out at the dunes as well...

I have to agree with EE. If you use the trailer a lot, I think you'll regret th canvas pop outs. A 26' TH with a front bedroom is still going to have plenty of living room, and plenty comfortable. Your truck will haul that fine.

You should be able to find something in the 25-26' range for the price you're looking to spend. The market is soft right now, you should be able to make a good deal if you're patient.

Try rv.net for more information. There's a TH section that was really helpful to me when I was shopping for our TH.

Perhaps a towing set of tires? Nice highway radials. I like the Micro kitchen.

You have my number, be more than happy to answer any questions you have.

Where is the drop down bed over the back door?

I would also worry about the tip out beds in windy weather.

thanks for all your info

Uh, no problem. I pull a 13.5k max 5th wheel with my truck and I'm guessing there isn't that much difference in the tow weight of your 7.3. My max tow behind is 12,500. The trailer in the link is 11k so I would think it should be no problem.

Ken....
