Hey, Shawn.. What kind of leveling kit did you put on your truck? I have a Keystone Raptor 299MP and when I hook the truck (2006 F250 FX4 CC SB) up to it the back end sags just a bit and I would like to level it out. I have a slider hitch and a B & M hitch also, so I think bags would probably be out (nowhere to mount them). I am thinking about supersprings - either the 3K or 5K ones. Is that what you've got?? |

Sorry for the delay- been gone for awhile but I'm back now. Just took the family to Gorman for some quality time. Five days worth. It was friggin hot, but that kept the people away which was sweet. Had the place mostly to ourselves. As for the gooseneck adapter on the trailer, really works well. My truck tows that thing great. The new SCT X3 really gives the truck some nuts too!!!!! The grapevine was no problem. SRFD: Which dunes are you refering to? We'd love to check out some new riding areas and sand is my favorite. We should set up a powerstroke meeting to ride and hangout. Dagnabit: It had the leveling kit on the truck when I got it 18 months ago so not really sure. My airbags are Firestone 5k models and they don't interfear with any of the hitch mounting stuff (I have an under-bed mounted gooseneck). They really help the ride and leveling of the truck and trailer. They are a must-have in my book. To get my trailer to run level, the back of my truck has to sag a bit and it kinda looks funny to me. The front end isn't light though so no safety worries. I either need to remove the leveling kit from the front of the truck or lift the trailer (hehehe). Not sure what I'm gonna do yet. Works for now. |
