outside shower question-

Well big trip to Yellowstone in just a few days. Its been 25 years since Ive been their so to say the least Im excited. The truck is running the best that I can get it. The trailer has all new tires, all new bearing's and races and a new Honda generator. And wouldn't you know it the Interstate batteries take a dump last week.
So with only 4 days to go the wife ask's if I can put up some sort of shower curtain for the outside shower. That we have never used before. I think she's just looking for something to keep me busy.
So question is is their some sort of snap on shower curtain set up that I have never seen? Any suggestions?

I've not seen a shower curtain for an outside shower. You might want to check to see if Camping World had something like that. Most of the time, we use ours, we either have our bathing suits on or I'm rinsing of the sand off sand toys.

I would think if CW doesn't have anything, you might be able to make something out of PVC that you could hang a curtain from. Just a thought!

I figured CW would have something as well but didn't see anything. Got a feeling I might be making my own.
I could just use the inside shower but I don't wanna fill up the tank.

The out house tents work great for an outside shower enclosure. Light weight. Fold up and don't have a bottom so you can use pretty much anything for a floor.

We use two wood pallets for a floor...one out side one in... for the curtain some pvc pipe in a rectangle with a weight of some sort on one side put it on your roof and hang the unweighted side off the trailer above the shower. Then use shower curtain rings and a couple shower curtains hanging off of it...if the shower curtains are too short use some rope off the rings and tie it to the curtain and bingo...

There is actually a shower tent made for taking showers just like the out house tent. You might want to check bass pro or cabelas.

Shower Anywhere - Tent Trailer Privacy Stall

I think it'd be super easy to build from PVC pipe, some corner pieces, and stuff like that. I am thinking under 25 bux total costs. Actually I need to do this too for our toyhaulers outside shower.

I just saw in your other thread that your Yellowstone trip already happened. Did you get something rigged up for the trip or is it still in R&D? I just saw this today but would have otherwise suggested just paying for the showers at the campground. We went last year with my parents and the only way I could get the wife to come was by telling her about the hot showers and flush toilets at all the campgrounds. We had a great time and both enjoyed being able to cleanup every morning.

So long as your skinny and don't mind some odd looks, this would work great!

BUSA Play tunnel - IKEA

And at only $14.99 it's a deal!

Compactable.
Drool, poo and milk resistant.
And the best part, it's short enough that you can just lift it up and walk right on in the trailer! No need to dry off first.

Just sayin, it's ONE solution.
