weight distribution hitch?

Was wondering if their is any advantage to using a weight distrbution hitch when you reeley dont need to.
Ive got a bumper tow camper that I HAD to use the hitch with my half ton. Now Ive got the F350 so I reeley dont need to use it but I have it so would it make for a smoother ride?

Take a drive with and without the weight distribution hitch in a crosswind and you use it every time.

Is your F350 drw? If so my brother in law doesn't use the distribution hitch with his F350 drw. I have the equalizer hitch witch has the stabalizer built in. The regular distribution hitches don't and you will have to run a anti sway with them but with the dwr you probably won't need a sway bar if thats what you have. Intrested to see what the guys on here with drw have got to say.

It is a dually and the hitch I have isnt a very spendy one. But it does have a external anti-sway bar. One of those older friction type with the handle you tighten. Ive been thinking of goin with one of those fancy all in one set ups...
