Camping

Well the weekend for camping has come. We are not new to camping in tt but haven't done so in a long time. We brought a 2013 285fb Starcraft Trailstar Galaxy a month ago. I had a long list of honeydoos to complete before we could hit the road. Going to a small family campground called the Heritage in Vass, NC. We have camped there many times several years back and seems like nothing has changed from talking to the owners. This will be a trial run for the camper before we head out for the beach and mountains. Hopefully I get plenty of pics and I will post them if I can figure out how.

Looks like there are not many of us on the camping thread, most all of the posts are pretty old.

I just took my cover off and found out my battery is gone and the cables cut so that set me back. I think I will wash and wax it next week..

I love that outside sink setup, very nice. I'm on the "left" coast, so it's always camping season here, getting ready to go to Lake Hemet

But I'll bet it isn't as nice to your part of the country

Man sorry to hear about your battery. It takes a sorry dog to steal anything but a mans camper battery, thats pretty sad.

@Pwr Mad, it is really pretty here in NC right now. Spring is in full swing and thank goodness we got some rain the last couple of days, the pollen from the oak and other trees was terrible. I believe the Highs will be around 68 and lows 44, good camping weather.

I love that area, on August 5, 1995 we were hiking around Cannibal Plateau and got caught in a thunderstorm that left 5" of snow in an hour! That was a neat experience for a Ga boy!!
