RVs are insured for a set rate. What ever you told them when you insured is what you will get minus your deductable. If it was 40,000 then they would have put 40,000 insurance on it. Goodluck. You can probably get a good deal on a new one right now the rv sales are way down.

What would the "replacement" value be? Take into consideration the cost of the camper, transportation costs, site work, hook ups to water, septic, etc, basically what it would take to be able to just "step into" another camper. Make sure your loss of personal items is also accurate, even old clothing left there has value.

I hope your right man. I'd sure hate for them to give me $30,000 when I owe almost $40,000. I remember them asking me what the value was and I told them $40,000 plus I got $2,000 personal, but my policy says actual cash value.????????

Hopefully they pay your original insured value but if it says actual value then they are probably going to be looking at fair market value. The same NADA that values cars also does RV's. Go here and see what you come up with:

NADA RV Link

Hope this helps and sorry to hear about this. Hopefully they take care of you. I worked up an '07 34' sunnybrook and it was a low of 33 and a high of 40 so I don't think you'll do too bad at all even at actual value. Your's is newer and bigger so I think you'll be in good shape.
