It generally boiled the alcohol, and when you do that all the liquor disappears. Stress got to the reason where the cap would not keep, taken the cap off, and the vaporized liquor created an awesome fire.

I use a beer bottle and fill it with 1/4 of water and about 1/2 with citronella and put a small hole in the cap place the bottle upwright and as it heats up it shot out a fire ball or a flame thrower

had some buddies that used to throw .22's in the fire... would pop and thro the casing out... one guy decided 3 .308's would be funny blew the logs out everywhere and sent chards flying...
