Thought a few of you would like to see a custom built swivel wheel trailer I built to pull behind my 5th wheel. Unlike the commercial ones, this one is built like a tank, low to the ground and has 12" wheels not 8" You could use it for a bike, ATV or golf cart. Next it gets a Gen. attached to the back with a alum. plate toolbox.
I'm putting a gusset on the receiver arm and maybe another 2 arms to stabilize it. My Swivel wheel trailer Last edited by billieg; 04-15-2012 at 03:28 PM. |

It's going to be done tomorrow. Didn't have the steel to do it last week. Thanks.

Cool looking. Never seen even one.
I guess it's basically like a cargo rack, just with wheels for added weight carrying capacity? |

Very nice!!
A buddy of mine made one very similar, but he used two receivers and stingers. They were about 4 feet apart. Just a little more security. Great job!! Mark |

Thanks for the posts. I'm thinking about putting 2 receiver arms on too.

Seen a couple and one of them had a monowheel. This is by far the best I've seen.

Double hauling is not illegal in any state... as long as you got your CDL with doubles endorsement
