I'm Back and I got a 5th wheel!

We went on vacation and spent 3 days in Atlanta and went to Stone Mountain Park all 3 days, I have to say I had a blast and so did my wife and kids. There is SOOO much to do there. We got rained out yesterday so I had to check out a couple of camper dealers in the area. GOT ONE! Brand New 2008 Sunny Brook Brookside Fifth Wheel 310 FWMS Floorplan Close-up, I got every option available beside's the 27" flat screen tv which was $1,400, the dealer, PECO CAMPERS, orders all their units fully loaded and it was still the same price as say a poorly optioned Keystone Cougar. The Sunny Brook is made extremely well for it's price range, by far hands down the best I've seen. And my wife just love the bathroom being totally private because most 5 er's have the bathroom in the bedroom which sucks. List was $40,000 with 3 slides and fully loaded, I wrote them a check for $29,995, brand new 08'. I'M VERY EXCITED!!!

Well that was there window price on the unit, when I asked the fella what he'd take cash money he said I was looking at it. Supposedly they mark their RV's where they can sell them and sell a bunch of them, not just sella couple and make a killin. I did see them roll several out the door while I was there. And as far as writing "checks like that"...lol...to bad I got to go to the credit union Monday morning and take care of all the financing for that check.

I hear ya on the credit union... I hate payments, but love my toys so I guess its worth it, sounds like it is for you too! Congrats on the new camper... I'm jealous! Someday I'll get rid of a current payment and I'll be posting up a thread like this one too. Can't wait for that day. Enjoy yourself!!!

Looked at the floor plan. I really likr the way the bathroom is secluded, and not just stuck between the living room and bedroom. Very nice unit!
