Dometic Refrigerator recall

Don't how many Keystone owners are out here,but I stumbled on this by accident tonight.
Dometic has a recall on 1997-2004,and 2004-2007 refers.
From what they say is the line the gas(lp) heats up can get a stress crack,and catch on fire if leaking and using on electric as well.

My model and serial #s fall under this.

I'm sure Keystone isn't the only company who uses these-so please read

Man if you have a RV and your co (Keystone) has not called you yet, your lucky to still have your RV. A lot of them have had fires. This recall is a Band-Aid fix and don't work most of the time. If it's not been done, you can take it to anyone who is a Dometic dealer and they will do the recall.

I had to get mine fixed, it was pretty painless as it was covered under warranty. Its crazy how fast a trailer will burn to the ground, definitely something you don't want to mess with.

Nope-heard nothing,but bought it back in spring,called the guy I bought from,am friends with him and he bought it new and never got anything either.

If this is a band-aid fix,is this all they do for a permanent solution,or will they replace it?

I decided not to have the recall done, some have had cooling issues afterwards. I just
unplugged the AC power cord on the back of the fridge. Just run it on propane
all of the time. It is just an issue if you run it on AC power.

They just do the band-aid fix, but it can still break if you use AC power.
