camping on the 4th

Anyone going camping on the 4th this year,looks like all the campgrounds around here are booked up,I have that week off so I guess we will pull in late monday and spend the rest of the week.

We're camping at a local state park this year. Got some friends coming from PA and from Cleveland. Should be a good time.

We've given up on camping on the holiday weekends, because the trip home sucks the big one. It doesn't matter if we leave at 6am or 6pm, we're sitting in a parking lot on the highway. Now we just have a big shindig at the house with real BBQ and good people . You guys have fun, and be safe, and don't forget what the holiday is celebrating

We were thinking about going to the lake, but we just sold our boat. Now we will probably just camp at the lake and hang with our friends.

I don't have a boat either but my Daughter does so we just enjoy theirs with them,it always pays to go camping with someone who has a boat!

There is Ocean Lakes and Pirate Land in S.C. if you like camping on the beach, so I'm told. I haven't been to either one, but I'm going to Ocean Lakes in August. I hope the oil doesn't beat me there. I doubt you would be able to get a reservation for the 4th this late in the year.
