We have a 2007 Pilgrim Legends 31RE3SLF-5 (English translation - 31ft, Rear living, 3 slides, fifth-wheel)

We live near Sacramento, CA. We have the option of going to the coast (summer) or into the foothills (Spring, Fall). I guess the usual answer these days is, we have been going shorter trips (Fuel $). We'd rather do that than sell the rig. We really enjoy going out even if it is close by. We do have some 'long run' trips planned, but we'll have to save up for those.

We like getting out, meeting people, seeing places. "We" being my wife, 2 dogs (Yorkies) and me. Sometimes, we have our oldest grandkids (5 & 3). Our youngest GD is only 1, so she's not quite ready for the trips. We do have some friends with whom we go for 'get-together' trips.

Thumbs up

After years of backpack tent camping with my Scouting son, I decided that I had enough of that. Now days I "rough it" in this.

Thank you for the nice words.

That is Cagle Park on Lake Conroe. About 40 miles north of Houston. It is actually a Federal Park.

None of the above. We were in the side yard of a house (family), and we also stayed at Suck Bang Blow's camp area while we were working there. The only time we visited a real campground was to dump (Myrtle Beach State Park is only $5).
