I don't know how I missed this one but I'm in! Last July I bought a Rockwood 30 foot fifth wheel. It's an ultra-light that weighs in at about 8,000 lbs fully loaded. The 6.0 hardly knows it's there. We have camped at least 6 times with it already and use it mainly for NASCAR races at Richmond and Dover.

Somehow I have wound up dry camping way more than I have had hookups. It's something the entire family enjoys so it was well worth the investment. Now if I could just afford all the darned accessories that we need!

2006 Prowler Regal 27'. Pics in the garage. I have just started to get the itch to get a fiver now that I have figured out how cool my B&W turnover ball is. Problem is, unless I go with a toy hauler (too d#$n expensive) I won't be taking my newly acquired golf cart. I really like the bunkhouse concept so that we don't have to make the dinette and sofa into beds for the kids. I found a cool 5er on ebay last week that had a loft room, which provided two overhead beds in a room with a couch, entertainment center tip out, and door. Really cool..........

Just people who pull or does hauling count too?!

My better half and I have been living in our truck camper, full time, since November of '07. The truck is an '01 7.3 4x4 dually and the camper is a '08 Northwood Arctic Fox.
We are actually camped just a few miles North of you at Surfside Beach.

Used to do the whole tent camping event but the wife wasn't really into it so upgraded to a 2000 Jayco 28.5 ft bunkhouse. Best part is by the time my buddy has his tent set up I've usually got the fire going and am on my second cold one.

^^^That's the best reason to upgrade!!! With the second being, you don't wake up in the middle of the night with a flat air mattress and a rock jammed into your back!

Got a 25' Salem 5er with a slide out. Usually go about 5 or 6 times a year but want to go more. Towed it and my atv's for the 1st time with this rig last weekend and was real impressed by how the truck handled the load.
