1990 KIT 27' 5th wheel converted to Gooseneck.
I pulled all the carpet out and laid Pergo hardwood from one end to the other and mounted a generator on it and put a homemade 5" lift kit on it (needs about 6” more). She’s old but she’s like new and paid for. Pulls like it ain’t there. Wife wants a newer and a lot bigger camper with slides but I’m holding off.

don't take the wife to work and no water in winter gotta use trucker shower or washboard or something like that.
its got tank heaters but not equipped for that cold.
the inside stays between 65 -70 if heat set there and uses about 50 gallons every 2 months.

Red face

I am just joining in on the fun.

We bought our first camper last year. We picked up an '05 Jayco Model 12 High Wall Pop-Up. Family loves it. We try to go at least once a month from April through October if we can and then at least a week long trip over the summer. This last year we pulled it to Zion National Park then to Vegas for a dance competition, the Grand Canyon and then back home. This was pulling it with an '06 Chrysler Town and Country minivan. 3 adults and 3kids.

This then led to the search for a much better pulling vehicle which is why I picked up the '03 Excursion. I cannot even tell I have something behind me now. We plan on camping all over Missouri this year. Plus I camp once a month with my son in Scouts. Looking forward to some time in Branson this summer.

We will upgrade in a few years. I am being blamed for our friends picking up their pop-up. We were die hard tent campers before this year.

Glad to see all the nice setups.

Shawn

Ive got a 1999 22' Aerolite. We just got it last year and went out about 4 times. Primarily because I only had my single cab F150 then and could not get the whol family in at once!. I got my 250 Crewcab back in October and am anxiously awaiting spring so the whole family can get out together.

We have four trips planned already. To South Georgia in May for a big R/C Airplane fly in. 4 days of me and my boy doing nothing but flying planes and enjoying the company of 400 or so of our best friends. Then again in June to PA along the Monongahela river to another fly in. And then a couple more trips to the mountains later in the summer with the wife and the other kids.

Should be a real fun year!

we get out 8-10 times per year I pull a 28.8 Skyline Nomad bunk model with 12 foot slide out T.T. When I was single, and younger I used to do mountaineering so the trailer is a welcome change, you can bring way more BEER in a trailer than a backpack
